Festival editions 2008-2009-2010
The festival's first edition took place in Rimini in April 2008, during the SIB International trade fair and convention centre. The first phase launched a series of seminars and meetings with a number of internationally respected industry professionals. The key characteristic of the agenda was that of covering a series of topics that provided a global aspect on designing for the entertainment industry. Following this lead, in 2009 the Festival 'migrated' to London, holding a conference at the Victoria and Albert Museum in September before moving on to Rome in October for a 3-day event held at the Faculty of Architecture "Ludovico Quaroni" at the University "La Sapienza". Our mission is to focus interest on emergent sectors, with topics relating to film, special effects and contemporary and avant-garde theatre productions. In 2010, the Festival presented a new edition in April: a 4-day event at the Casa dell'Architettura in Rome, and will round up this year's events with a return in September to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Festival edition 2011
The 2011 edition of the International Festival of Scenic Arts will differ slightly from previous editions primarily for the choice in locations. The fundamental link between territory and cultural identity will form the lynchpin of our chosen festival sites. As each location is distinguished for its historic, artistic and architectural heritage, the intent is to discover and rediscover new urban spaces while the event is being staged within the urban environment that hosts it. For this reason we have chosen to hold an edition of the festival in Venice, a city of art with strong cultural, creative and time-honoured traditions.
