Showcasing Fashion: the near future

The programme comprises a series of master classes with the overall aim of stimulating study and reflection while focusing attention on contemporary scenic arts in an age where new tools and digital technologies are blurring distinctions between the array of visual arts. Each seminar runs a full day, during which internationally respected professionals will show examples of their completed projects and share their knowledge with attendees.

Urban Theatre

The programme entitled Urban Theatre has the specific aim of organizing a creative agenda of urban exhibition to realize in sites that have a strong artistic and historic connotation, such as medieval villages and castles, Renaissance gardens, monumental courtyards and small theatres with a significant historical tradition, nineteenth-century museums and stately homes, some archaeological sites or major works of industrial architecture.

Engineering and Architecture for Performing Arts / Research & Training
November 2010 - Location: Venice
The Urban Theatre project in addition comprises a programme of vocational studies under the title: Engineering and Architecture for Performing Arts - Research & Training. A joint research programme will be set up, involving several European universities, with the aim of addressing issues relating to contemporary scenography applied to the visual arts in their global complexity. Faculties of architecture and design as well as arts academies will be actively involved in the process.
